Overview
79.81EE Printer Error
Situation
The printer will display a 79.81EE Printer Error when all of the
following occurs:
1. At least 8 Mbytes of Memory in printer.
2. Printer Firmware Datecode on Configuration
page = 19980825 PA3.0
3. Configure "RAM DISK=ON" via
Configuration Menu on Control Panel.
NOTE: This will also allow you to configure
"MOPIER MODE" via the control panel.
4. Print a PCL/XL print job.
Solution / Action
1. Configure "RAM DISK=OFF" via
Configuration Menu on Control Panel. This is an unsupported
option with the LaserJet 5000LE.
2. If errors persist replace the Formatter.
